The Directors
David Eaton
David has been involved in photography and photographic education for thirty years. During that time he has been a course leader and lectured at Further and Higher Education levels; he’s also had involvement with adult education and the development of creative education in schools, as a project manager and mentor.
He has a very solid background in both analogue and digital practices and has delivered professional training in the latter on a freelance basis, as well as having written a number of articles on the subject for the photographic and design press.
One of the co-founders of Redeye (and involved in its running for the first 11 years), David has also been involved in the developing and running of a number of photography-related initiatives, from photography festivals (New Exposure, 1998; Look ’07, 2007) to a national photography award (This Working Life, 2005-2008).
In terms of his own photographic work, it is documentary photography that interests him the most; he has been both published and exhibited.

Jason Lock
Jason gained a degree in Film & Photography at Newport College Gwent, which has an international reputation for documentary photography. After working as a staff newspaper photographer for a number of years, he has been operating as a freelancer since 1998. Using his skills as a reportage photographer, Jason creates images for a diverse range of photography – covering news events, magazine features or corporate reports. More recently he has brought is other passion, for filmmaking, into his work and spends much of his time now producing short films for charities and NGOs.
In 2006 he was elected to the board of Directors at Redeye the photography network, which provides information, events, training and professional development. From this he has helped to establish Photomobile and continues to be a regular session leader where his enthusiasm and passion for photography is evident within his workshops.

Workshop Leaders
As well as David Eaton and Jason Lock, who often delivery workshops themselves, Photomobile has a number of freelance photographers on its books, with extensive experience in workshop delivery.
Photomobile Assistants & Volunteers
Photomobile also has a wonderful team of workshop assistants and volunteers, who are on-hand at events and workshops to help out. All our assistants, and most volunteers, have Enhanced CRB Disclosures.
It has come to our attention that a couple of photographers have been reporting to be associated with Photomobile when they are in fact not (or have grossly exaggerated a level of voluntary involvement). Our regular team has been: Barbara Balmer, Anna Bates-Patel, Elina Chauveaux, Nathan Cox, Eleanor Ferguson, Sian Gouldstone, Jonathan Hardman, Ed Horwich, Chris Leyland, Dominika Kamińska, Whitney Sherratt, Victoria Shield & Robbie Venn.
